Report for Thurs:

Took Josh to Silver Lake in Pierce Co. Got on the water at about 6:15am. Water was like glass. A little too much like glass. No fish jumping. Besides the one guy in the chair on the dock - no one else was fishing besides us until about the time we left - then there were 2 more boats on the water. Eventually we saw a few fish, but with no bites at all, we finally left at 8:30 and headed to Mineral Lake.

Got on the water at Mineral by 9am or so. Fished till 12:30. Winds were pretty strong the whole time. Josh and I each got an 11 or so inch brown (his first one, and my first one in about 15 yrs). We also got several small bows. There were a handful of others fishing the lake, but we did not see anyone else get into fish.

We tried a lot of things between the 2 lakes, but the best action was using very small pop gear (for josh) and I had a 2 blade indiana spinner (one gold, the other silver) - we both used a worm\salmon egg combo about 18 inches back.
